Rochester NPC Event June 12th Pat Marcanio

Hey gang, just wanted to let everyone know that my brother Pat is competing June 12th show Rochester, NY NPC event at the Riverside Covention center.. He will also respresent Big Rig Supplements at the show..if he has time, he wil stop at my table for any questions you might have..he is the one who motivated me to get ...into shape. Lets hope he brings home the big trophy..This is a photo from last year

First BLOG!

Here comes my first Big Rig BLOG!!
I have recently accepted the role of Spokes model for Big Rig Supplements. I am very excited to learn more about the products & share what I learn with everyone!

I want to give you a snapshot of my background & my upcoming projects and goals.

I grew up on a dairy farm in LeRoy; yeah that's right a farmer's daughter.. oh boy!! I began taking gymnastics at age 6 & truly believe that that is where I started to learn about discipline and hard work. I've carried that mentality right to the gym with me to this day.
I graduated from SUNY Brockport in 2001 with a B.S. in Physical Education with a Concentration in Exercise Physiology. I have been a personal trainer since college on a part-time level at several locations. (Rochester Athletic Club, The Jewish Home (absolutely adore the elderly), Oak Hill Country Club and currently at the Downtown Fitness Club)

I started doing Natural Figure competitions in 2007. I have competed in the NGA, INBF and WNSO organizations and plan on doing more in the future. I am also planning on getting my Pro Card.. IT WILL HAPPEN!

In 2008 I began training for the NGA Natural Northeast and CAN/AM shows and found out I was pregnant 2 months into the training! My husband, Adam and I were thrilled...but I was left a little confused as to what to do about the shows. I checked with my doctor and she said as long as I keep hydrated GO FOR IT... and I DID!!! The picture I attached is from this show; I got out on stage at 11-weeks pregnant and people still remember me as the "pregnant figure girl" It was so rewarding being on stage as the M.C. announced that I was nearly 3 months pregnant! The crowd gasped & I grinned from ear to ear!! I gave birth to our beautiful Samantha in October of '08. Shortly after, I started to get the itch to compete again. I decided to take part in the 2009 INBF Natural USA and NGA Olympus. These were 2 of my favorite shows. I was just so happy to have gotten back into contest shape after the baby.. and actually looked & felt better than EVER!! I have had continuous support from my trainer & sponsor, John Hutchings of the Downtown Fitness Club.

My newest venture is sewing and designing Figure bikinis! I made my own suits for the last 2 shows I did and am now starting to sell them and get a business going. You can check it out on Facebook:

Good Morning everyone

Ok, so I'm finally back in the game (as Karen would say, lol)! Gained a little weight after my last competition. But after a few weeks off, I'M BACK!!!! Hitting the gym hard and clean eating :)
I'm giving 100% so I can rock that stage at my next competition in October! No Pain No Gain, Love it!!!!!!

Be sure to stop at my table for this Rochester NPC show on June 12th at the Riverside Convention Center (hosted by Jim Rockell)..as my feature product with be NRGX-LABS and a few more added to the list. WOW..what a day gang..hit up a double session workout today..morning was upper body.night was legs.. Both times i used up my last sample of my pre-workout CRANK..this time 2 scoops..YES 2 scoops is the answer.. So gonna get new flavors of CRANK (lemonade and fruit punch) Tomorrow is cardio and Wednesday is leg day with Karen Palotto my spokes model

Ok gang...up early for Hollywoods soccer game today in Utica...all my meals are pack and ready for travel. Just took 2 Body Ignition and starting to feel the burn..WHEW...love this product. Can't wait for it to go into production..and still working on flavor for CRANK

June 12th NPC Rochester Show

Hey gang...come down on Saturday June 12th to the Riverside Convention Center for the Rochester 2010 NPC Bodybuilding, Fitness, Figure & Bikini Championships. I will have a featured Big Rig Supplement table with my featured products NRGX-LABS....also on tap Advanced Muscle Science and Scivation
There will be a good chance that my spoke models will be present at this show for meet, great and photo shoots
